Finance

We can introduce you to a range of business and personal finance options available to help you decide on the best way to purchase your car. For information, or help or guidance on which option will suit your needs, give us a call and we will refer you to an appropriate regulated partner for a detailed discussion.
Contract Hire (Business and Personal)

Contract hire is designed mainly for the VAT registered business user. This is because VAT paid on top of monthly payments can be claimed back 100% if proved the vehicle is purely for business use. 50% can be claimed back if the vehicle is used for both business and personal use. However, this does not mean if you are not VAT registered that you cannot use contract hire, it only means that the VAT cannot be claimed back.

Maintenance can be included in the payment and road fund license is included for the duration of the contract when maintained. An annual mileage is also agreed between you and the funding house depending on what your average mileage is. There is normally a pence per mile charge if the mileage is exceeded. With contract hire there are no worries about residuals that need to be paid off. All you have to do is sit back and wait for the funding house to come and collect vehicle at the end of the period.
Personal Contract Purchase (PCP)

A PCP is ideal for those customers changing or upgrading their car, typically at intervals of between 24 and 36 months. PCP makes it easier for the customer to afford cars that would normally be considered ‘out of budget’. At the end of the contract there are three choices; outright ownership, part exchange for a new car/use any equity towards deposit, or hand back the car and walk away with nothing further to pay. PCP residual values are GUARANTEED by the funding house.
Lease Purchase (Regulated)

This enables you to have complete control over disposal of the vehicle, and full ownership will pass to you at the end of the contract. The payment in advance can be as little as three months and payments are spread over a period suitable for you. There is normally a residual at the end of the period. However, this not guaranteed due to the mileage not being stipulated. Your options at the end of the period are; If you decide to keep the vehicle you can settle the remaining balance or re-finance. You may prefer to dispose the vehicle through outside source if you have equity. You also have the option to settle agreement at any time, i.e. vehicle vs finance.

Regulated finance is only available to individuals who do NOT have a high net worth also NOT available to Ltd companies.
Hire Purchase

Easy and highly flexible, this method of purchase is ideal for customers who prefer to have ‘ownership’ of their car. Hire purchase is very popular because it offers a wide range of deposit and repayment periods up to 60 months, thereby allowing customers to have a fixed monthly payment which best suits their budget.

Vehicle Offload Disposal

For many years, the traditional way of getting rid of a used car was through a part exchange when buying a new one. You would trade-in your car and receive a new one from a dealer. However, this may not be your best option.

Extended Warranty and Mechanical Breakdown Cover
